Cameron Clarke is a second year Ph.D Student in the Stony Brook University department of Physics and Astronomy, studying experimental nuclear and particle physics. Cameron is a Shackouls Honors graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Arts and Sciences (B.S. Physics 2015), where he was inducted into the Society of Scholars and was the recipient of a Goldwater Scholarship honorable mention award.

As a writer and journalist Cameron has had more than forty of his opinion and news articles published in The Reflector, MSU's student newspaper, where he also served as Editor of the Opinion section in the Fall of 2014. Focussing on the interface of science and culture, Cameron has also published several works in The Streetcar, Mississippi State University's creative arts journal, where he also served as the non-fiction editor for the second and third volumes.

In an effort to make an impact on his local and broader communities, Cameron has recently helped to start a Physics Graduate Student Association at Stony Brook University as well as built an online writing platform, Beyond The Standard.
